Picture #1 is from a tin type of William Wesley McDonald which was found in the photo albumn of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson. The tin type was probably taken about 1878, about the time of William's and Lucinda's marriage. William would have been about age 23.

Picture #2 is from a tin type of Lucinda Mariah Emmerson and was also found in the photo albumn of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson. The photo was likely taken about the time of her marriage to William Wesley McDonald in about 1878. Lucinda would have been about age 18.

Picture #3 was also found in the photo albumn of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson, and is a picture of William and Lucinda. The tin type was probably taken about 1885 when William and Lucinda were age 30 and 26 respectively.

Picture #4 is a photo of William Wesley McDonald, taken in about 1896. The photo is a cabinet card, and was marked with "Gasberg, 276 25TH St., Ogden, Utah" on the front. William would have been about age 41. The original is in the possession of the descendants of William and Lucinda.

Picture #5 is a photo of Lucinda Mariah Emmerson, taken at the same time as the photo of William Wesley above. The photo is also a cabinet card, and was also marked with "Gasberg, 276 25TH St., Ogden, Utah" on the front. Lucinda would have been about age 36. The original is in the possession of the descendants of William and Lucinda.

Picture #6 is a photo of William Wesley McDonald found in the photo albumn of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson. The original is a tin type, and was probably taken about 1872 when William was about age 16 or 17.

Picture #7 is a photo of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson. The photo was taken from a Carte de Visite and is dated to approximately 1880. The photo is in the possession of the descendants of Violet Belle McDonald.

Picture #8 is a photo of seven of the children of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson. The photo was taken about 1900 from a 5" by 7" photograph pasted on an 8 1/2" by 11" cardboard. Those in the photo are as follows: Top Row, Left to Right, is Joseph Arthur (1887); Annie Ellen (1883); and William Henry (1886). The bottom row, from Left to Right is Maud Lucinda (1892); Leon John (1897); Clarence Clinton (1893); and Charles LeRoy (1895). The oldest daughter, Gertrude Luella married in 1899 and two children Mary Susan (1890) and David Howard (1891) were deceased. Daisy Pearl (1903) had not yet been born. The picture is labeled with "G. W. Glanville, Blackfoot, Idaho".
