Picture #1 of Thomas Scholfield McDonald, Son of William McDonald and Lydia Scholfied, was taken about 1888 from a Tin Type. Thomas would have been about age 57. This picture was in the possession of the descendants of William Wesley McDonald, son of Thomas S. McDonald and Susan Good. This picture was probably taken at or around Glenwood, Pope, Minnesota.

Picture #2 is a picture of Wesley Croskrey, Sarah Jane McDonald, and their daughter Lydia (Eliza Jane) Croskrey, taken from a tin type. Sarah Jane was a daughter of William McDonald and Lydia Scholfield. The picture was probably taken about 1875 when Lydia was about age 20. Sarah Jane McDonald would have been age 50. The original was found in the possession of the descendants of William Wesley McDonald and of Violet Belle McDonald.

Picture #3 is a picture of James Belford McDonald, Son of William McDonald and Lydia Scholfield. The orginal is a 4" x 6" photograph that appears to be taken around the turn of the century. Certainly it was taken before the death of James B. in 1909. James Belford McDonald never married and resided with his Brother Thomas S. for most of his life. He later moved to Utah where this picture was probably taken. The original is in the possession of the descendants of William Wesley McDonald and Lucinda Mariah Emmerson.
