In 1656 the White family moved to Providence where William White is spoken of as the first brick layer in the colony.
In 1656 he was granted a dwelling lot of 60 acres and it was located next to the lot of Benjamin Hernden.
In Oct 1662 William White and Wife Elizabeth sold their lot of 60 acres in Providents to Benjamin Hernden for 20 pounds and moved back to Boston.
