To New Jersey from Stratford, about 1730.  In Stratford until about age 40.  To Pequannock, Morris, in about 1730.

John Stiles

Will of John Stiles, dated 11 Nov 1728.  Gives to Wife Elizabeth Stiles, and child that his wife is carrying.  If the Son died before age 21, or the daughter died before age 18, then he gives his dwelling house to her.  He gives to his kinsman Samuel Stiles of Windsor all his real estate if the child dies.  He gives to his sister-in-law, Abigail Taylor of Windsor 10 pounds.  Jonathan Elsworth of Windsor and my wife Elizabeth Stiles shall be executors.  31 Jan 1728/9.
In 1733 the court at Hartford appointed Jonathan Stiles and Elizabeth, his wife, formerly of Stratford, then lately of Hanover, in New West Jersey, to be guardians to John Stiles, then of Windsor, aged about 4 years, son of the Elizabeth.
