Picture #1 is a picture of Knud Christian Amundsen. The picture was certainly taken near their residence in Drammen, Buskerud, Norway. Exactly when this photo was taken is uncertain, but it is believed it was about 1881, when they were about age 30. Knud and Minda were married in 1875, so this picture may have been taken then. These photos were taken from very small pictures from a picture pedigree. The originals are in the possession of the descendants of Patrick Joseph McDermott.

Picture #2 is a picture of Minda Chrestella Pedersdatter. This picture was also enhansed from a very small photo from a picture pedigree. It is believed that the original photo is a picture of both Knud and Minda. The photo is in the possession of the descendants of Patrick Joseph McDermott.
