Picture #1 of Anne Knudsdatter was taken at Olso, Norway, evidently in 1883. Anne moved to Olso in 1877 and then immigrated to Utah in 1883. This picture may have been taken just prior to her move. Anne would have been about age 46. Anne's husband died in 1869 so was not living at the time this picture was taken. "D. G. Nyblinn, Kristiania, 1883", was written on the back of the photo. Oslo is the current name for Kristiania. This picture was in the possession of Amy Rosezella Jensen Wayman, Granddaughter of Christen Alfsen and Anne Knudsdatter.

Picture #2 was taken at Christiania (Olso), Norway. The back of the photo is written "Aug. Haraldsson, Prindsensgade 12 Christiania". This picture was also in the possession of Amy Rosezella Jensen Wayman. This picture is definately one of the daughters of Christen Alfsen and Anne Knudsdatter, but it is uncertain exacly which daughter it was. It is likely a picture of Alfine Charlotte Alfsen, who was born in 1864.

Picture #3 is a picture of Maren Helene Aflsen, daughter of Christen Alfsen and Anne Knudsdatter. The back of the photo reads "Nyblinn, Kristiania, 1884". Maren Helene did not emmigrate to Utah in 1883 with her Mother, but stayed in Olso. This picture was evidently taken about 1884 and sent to her Mohter in America. Maren was born in 1860, so would have been age 24 at the time the picture was taken. This picture was also in the possession of Amy Rosezella Jensen Wayman.

Picture #4 is a picture found in the possession of Amy Rosezella Jensen Wayman. She was of the belief that it was a picture of the missionary who baptized Christen and Anne in 1864. Could this picture be of Christen Alfsen who died in 1869? Perhaps someone can identify this picture.

Picture #5 is a picture of Alfine Charlotte Alfsen (Left) and Aase Helene Alfsen (Right). This picture was probably taken in Emery County, Utah when Alfine was visiting her two Sisters (Aase Helene and Josephine). The picture was taken prior to 1921.
