Ringwood MM, Hampshire, England Quaker records - FHL 813,530 - Marriage of parents.
Marriage records gives parents names of Husband and Wife.
A William Compton - 30 Dec 1717 - St. John, Wapping, England.
Will of Husband - Prerogative Court of Cantebury.
A William Compton went to Philadelphia in 1767 - this is probably William Compton Jr., born 1745.


18. Thomas Compton

38. John Wickens

In will of Rebecca Lamb in 1741 - she mentions the 4 children of her Sister Sarah - namely William, Rebecca, Sarah, & Mary.  
Reading & Warboro Quaker Monthly Meeting records - Marriage of parents;  death of sarah Lamb; Births of John Wickens, Sarah Lamb, and children Rebekah and William.  The other childrens births are not recorded in the quaker records.

Harwinton Land records - Benjamin left a piece of land in Harwinton that was distributed to the heirs thru land records.
Death date of Hannah Moss Ives Atwater is evidently incorrect.  Probate of Hannah Atwater, Wallingford District, vol 3, page 238, 12 Apr 1787, late of Cheshire - 8 shares - Asaph, Enos, Hinan, Titus, Mehitable, Lineus, Keziah, Anna - all of these children of Enos and Hannah Atwater.  None of the Ives children are given in her probate.  Also the cemetery stone of Hannah shows that she was the wife of Enos Atwater (1716-1784), and born 1722, died 27 Feb 1787.

Jonathan seems to be single until the 1850 census when there is a possible wife named Hannah, aged 74.
Some records have indicated that Jonathan married a Permelia Bennett, but no evidence has been found to substiantiate this.
